Some questions about amazon fire stick

I have an iPhone, although I find the apple tv's price a bit over the top to be honest.

Guys, those who have an amazon fire stick, did any of you experience that when you switch to the proper HDMI, the stick plays some music and after a while the tv says no signal? And it also seems as if the remote doesn't accept my input, even if it has completely new and fine battery.

Edit: I solved it, but for those who have or had the same problem, the AC power wasn't high enough.

I had an amazon fire stick for a while, but AT&T Tv, my main live tv app, was horrible on it. The screen reader read, guess what, nothing. It also just got really slow after a while. I could have gotten a new fire stick I suppose, but because of that app and a couple of shows I like to watch that are on different channels, I switched to Apple tv. One of the best switches ever, Voiceover is wonderful, I love the remote, and pluto tv works so much better. Also, I can use my live tv app and change channels like a normal human being instead of shouting for someone to come in and change the channel for me. Hey, don't judge. I had no choice.

Of course Apple tv is way better, I just don't have that much spare money to buy one just because samsung doesn't care about its' apps. Apple tv is waaay overpriced and overrated honestly. I love iOS and I own an iPhone, bought an SE 2 for last christmas because I had a pretty old one before so I gifted myself with it.

I mean, the fire stick I bought was like 50 dollars and an apple tv is about 280. Of course, there are things that the apple tv could do better than a fire stick, but at this point I would pay more than twice of the price just because it has voice over and it's apple.

True. In my case, it was more of what I used in terms of software.

It is, but we pay for quality and accessibility.

If we paid for accessibility, I would never buy anything from apple. It is as if I bought two functional, working eyes. No thanks. However, the point about quality is fair, I'm using apple products for like 5 years and I've never seen anything crytical so far.

Guys, does anyone have experience with netflix and fire stick? It doesn't wanna read anything if I open the netflix app, and I'm kinda comfused.

Oh. Well I can tell Alexa to start a movie or a serie, and I can tell her to switch to the next episode, but I can't figure out if there's a command to turn on audio descriptions with voice commands.

yeah. that is the cool thing about the alexa intigration, but i am not sure how to do what your thinking of. i'm so sorry

Oh. Well, if it was possible that I turn on audio description from my laptop and then netflix memorises it, OMG that would be awesome.

Well, I could agree with you before, but after using one android device I understood that it's trueth, at least in my case.
I have a really strange bug on my phone, so I understood that it's not possible to purchase an android device that will be 100% accessible, or it won't be critical.
Each phone has it's things, launcher, diler and others. It is not so common problem now, but still you can find it.
For example in my case you cannot change the volume of TB on my android device separately, it will always change with the volume of media and a currently playing video or so. It wouldn't be the problem if the speaker of my phone wasn't so horrible so I have to make it louder.
So before I used an android device, I thought absolutely the same way like you do, but unfortunately now my opinion has changed. I wish it wouldn't.
